Sujok therapy is an alternate therapy system of treatment to heal disease by stimulating certain pain points in the hands and feet with the combined use of acupuncture, finger pressure or a simple probe like a blunt needle, ball point pen or any blunt instrument.

Prof. Park Jae Woo, a Korean, developed this alternate healing therapy.

In Sujok,
  • Su means hand
  • Jok means feet
Thus, Sujok means treatment based on hand and feet. Sujok is a drugless, safe and side effects free system of treatment. It can be learnt easily both for self treatment and treating others.

Today, stress has become a part of our lifestyle. Right from a child to an older citizen, it affects everyone which in the longer run causes severe illness. While most of us depend on pills, a simpletouch on the tip of your thumb with the index finger of any hand helps to give miraculous results. For a lasting effect, one should repeat this action to get an ultimate relief. Tai chi also helps to reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance.

How does sujok help to heal curative, mental and emotional disorder?
Through Sujok, one can diagnose the problem easily. By pressing the key points and applying pressure in the right direction, one can cure the problem. Sujok helps to heal certain physical problems such as BP, headache, bronchitis, asthma, gastric acidity, ulcer, constipation, migraine, vertigo, irritable bowel syndrome, gastro oesophageal reflex disease, disc prolapse, complications due to chemotherapy, menopause, excessive bleeding and many more. Likewise, to cure depression, anger, fear and worries, sujok is an ultimate therapy for soul and body that provides natural treatment to the patients, who otherwise, depend on pills to cure such diseases.

The entire system of sujok therapy hinges on the fact that our entire body is represented on a smaller scale in the hands and feet which are the mirror images of the entire body.

According to the hand and foot acupuncture principle, similar bodies have correspondence reactions that work similarly.

There are various correspondence systems in the body. The correspondence systems are located on each and every independent part of the body like the hands, feet, ears, head, tongue, internal organs, etc.

These correspondence systems exchange information about the working of each and every body organ and part. This means that information about the condition of each and every organ, is being received by and transmitted to, all the correspondence systems.

Each correspondence system is a reduced replica of the human body and all the organs and the body parts are reflected in each of the correspondence system. Areas or zones belonging to particular body organs are called correspondence zones. Therefore, each body organ or part, has its own correspondence zone, in all the correspondence systems.
Take the example of stomach. It has correspondence zones on the ears, eyes, feet and all the other correspondence systems.

Very simply, it can be stated that, all organs and body parts are represented on a smaller scale on specific locations or points on the hands, feet, ears, head and all the other correspondence systems.
